Call for Presentations

For the Upcoming 2023 WA DEI Empowerment Conference in June!

We are committed to supporting statewide and agency-specific equity and anti-racism work, with the goal of building more just systems and fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging with our state workforce.

The conference will focus on a different topic each Wednesday: Diversity, Equity, Inclusion/Belonging, and Anti-Racism. Presenters will need to provide a separate application for each 90-minute presentation you are suggesting for the conference. Each application will need to include an Abstract (description of the content you intend to cover) and a short personal bio for each presenter that will be facilitating this content.

In requesting submissions, the 2023 DEI Empowerment Conference seeks to highlight a diverse range of voices and perspectives at its conference. Submissions are open to anyone with skill, background, knowledge, or expertise relevant to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion/Belonging, and Anti-Racism. Speakers with lived expertise in their chosen topic are especially encouraged to submit proposals.

All submissions must be received by Sunday, March 12, 2023 by 12am (midnight).
