July 2022 Meeting Preview

Registration is now open for our July 2022 membership meeting and transition celebration!

The meeting will take place from 8:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday, July 19 via Zoom.  Meetings are free and open to anyone, regardless of gender or employment status.

How to Register: Complete the registration form on our meetings page. Once you are registered, you will receive an email confirmation with instructions on how to join the meeting. Our  meetings page also has a copy of our current meeting agenda.

The transition celebration and meeting serves as a way for new and perspective ICSEW members and guests to learn about the work of the ICSEW and celebrate the ICSEW’s major accomplishments over the past year.

The ICSEW also gives awards to select individual ICSEW representatives. These include the Everlasting Award, Visionary Award, Lorrie Jo Brown Excellence in Service Award, Extra Mile Award and Leadership Award. The ICSEW executive board also gives an outstanding subcommittee award to a representative on each subcommittee. Read about last year’s awards here.

Breakout Session: Attendees are invited to participate in an interactive breakout session. You can meet and network with other members. We’ll also give a chance for you to tell us how you’d like ICSEW to continue to bring you value and what you want us to focus on next year.

ICSEW Panel: Finally, we will hear from a panel of past and current members about their ICSEW experience. They’ll answer a set of questions about how ICSEW has impacted their personal and professional lives and then take a few questions from audience members. Joining our panel are

Keri O’Connell: Keri is a Tax Information & Policy Specialist in the Executive Division at the Department of Revenue. She joined ICSEW in July 2020, and currently serves as the co-chair of the Legislation and Policy Subcommittee while also assisting on the Communications Subcommittee.

Leatta Dahlhoff: Leatta is a chemist, environmentalist, and community advocate dedicated to improving the lives of the people of Tumwater and our great South Sound community. She is a former ICSEW executive chair and served on its legislative Committee, and is an environmental technical analyst with the Department of Enterprise. Dahlhoff has held several leadership positions in Thruston County, including as a board member for several non-profit organizations and has served on the Tumwater City Council since 2018.
