Location: Washington State Department of Corrections (located inside the Edna Lucille Goodrich Building) 7345 Linderson Way SW Tumwater, WA 98501. Conference room #1028.
Time: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Date: Tuesday, November 20, 2018
Directions: From I-5 South: Take exit 101 and turn left onto Tumwater Blvd. Go about a quarter mile and take a left at the light onto Linderson Way. The Edna Lucille Goodrich Building is the first building on the left.
From I-5 North: Follow I-5 to Exit 101 and take a right onto Tumwater Blvd. Continue and take a left at the first intersection, Linderson Way. The Edna Lucille Goodrich Building is the first building on the left.
Parking and other information: There are a limited number of parking spots in the visitor lot. There is also a limited amount of free street parking on 73rd Avenue. Visitors are highly encouraged to carpool or take public transportation. Please check in at the front security desk have your state ID or other photo ID ready. If you park your personal vehicle in the visitor lot, please note the make and model with the security desk when you check in.

Annie Barrett, Vibrant Soulful, Eating Healthy During the Holidays
The holidays are fast approaching. Many of us will be attending office potlucks and numerous holiday parties. Extra sweets and snacks will also be guests at those holiday get-togethers. But you don’t have to sacrifice fun and flavor to stay healthy during the holidays. Health Coach Annie Barrett from Vibrant Soulful will stop by and teach us some healthy eating tips to maintain wellness during the holidays.
Eileen Yoshina, Puget Sound Educational Service District, Leading with Racial Equity: Beyond Diversity and Inclusion
The Puget Sound Educational Service District adopted a mission to eliminate the opportunity gap by leading with racial equity. Eileen Yoshina, manager of equity in education, will share learnings about what it means to lead with racial equity, how this work differs from cultural competence, diversity and inclusion efforts, and facilitate discussion about the future of racial equity work in Washington state.
