The ICSEW offers state employees and members of the public opportunities to engage with its members. Topic ideas are flexible. However, they should relate to one or more of the committee’s values of, Leadership, Integrity, Fostering growth, Empowerment, Wellbeing, and Advocacy. Professional Development Conference
The annual professional development conference is a daylong event that focuses on networking skills and professional growth. The conference is designed to attract 400-500 attendees from state government agencies statewide. The 2018 conference is held in September and attracts 400-500 attendees. The conference includes topics such as Lean; Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion; Career building and Networking skills; Emotional Intelligence EQ; and navigating the hiring process.
Held the third Tuesday of each odd-numbered month. Membership meetings provide members and guests educational and development opportunities.
