ICSEW and BRG Book Club

The voting has concluded and we have our winner. ICSEW is hosting the summer read while the other Business Resource Groups (BRGs) are undergoing their annual transition and we hope to see you all at our upcoming meetings. 

Yesteryear by Caro Claire Burke will be our 2026 Summer read!  

Yesteryear is a time-bending, emotionally rich novel that blends historical intrigue with personal discovery. The story follows Natalie, a woman whose life takes an unexpected turn when she’s pulled—literally—into the past. As she navigates a world decades before her own, she’s forced to confront questions about identity, love, and the ripple effects of our choices.  

Book Club meeting dates and times will be announced soon. In the meantime, pick up a book at a local store or library. For your convenience, we have compiled a bookstores and libraries list.

It features a rotating selection of books that highlight unique perspectives and experiences of specific demographic groups, as well as themes of leadership, empowerment, and personal development.  State employees are allowed to use state time to attend.
