Bill Alert HB 1077

The Legislature introduced this bill with the aim to raise awareness of pain control options for IUD placement and removal by mandating health care providers to inform patients of these options before or during the scheduling of their appointments.

As part of its work, the ICSEW Legislative and Policy subcommittee provides Bill Alerts during the current legislative cycle. Its purpose is to inform state employees of pending legislation that may impact them.
