Bill summary.

This bill would require the Department of Health to establish a stipend program to cover the out-of-pocket expenses incurred by registered nurses completing the training necessary to become adult/adolescent or pediatric sexual assault nurse examiners. The total stipend amount for any individual may not exceed $2500. Out of pocket expenses include fees, tuition, educational materials, or other charges charged by the training entity, and reasonable travel expenses.

As part of its work, the ICSEW Legislative and Policy subcommittee provides Bill Alerts during the current legislative cycle. Its purpose is to inform state employees of pending legislation that may impact them.
