Bill HB 2661 – PASSED

Protecting survivors of domestic assault from employment discrimination.
Provides victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking protections to maintain employment, to have reasonable safety accommodations in the workplace, and providing a civil action for an applicant for employment who feels injured due to a violation of the protections in the law.  This bill adds an applicant for employment as a new protected class, requiring an employer to provide an accommodation.
Effective June 7, 2018.
